He was the only staff artist for the Fillmore East, and designed posters for countless concerts, album packages (his design group won a Grammy for "Tommy.") and other rock art. He also created some of the most memorable Broadway show posters in history, images such as Sondheim's Follies, Tommy, Jesus Christ Superstar, Godspell, Little Shop of Horrors and many others.
