"The Johnny Cash Exhibit" 1988 Country Music Hall of Fame Poster Nashville 

Johnny Cash — The unmistakeable silhouette was used as the primary art of "The Johnny Cash Exhibit” in 1988 at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Nashville, Tennessee Poster. Several of these posters were used in the Tower Records Nashville store to advertise the Johnny Cash personal appearance at the exhibit’s opening.

This is one of a number of prints, posters, flyers, handbills and merchandising material purchased at a Tower Records auction in 2006. The contents were stored in cabinets for years and are typically in superb condition. There were many prints from the film and video side as well as the record store side and even some books-related art. Some are merchandising posters distributed to the stores and some are numbered editions of just 10 to 50 copies.
