According to Dead lore, there is a passage in the ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead that reads "Amidst the sullen Darkness there is shown a solitary light, for it is known beneath the sands of the pharoahs that deep in the land of night, the ship of the sun is drawn by the Grateful Dead. Inscribed here is "In the Land of the Dark, the Ship of the Sun is Drawn by the Grateful Dead."
