This gorgeous fan-styled poster by David Byrd pays tribute to Elton John's historic return to the Fillmore East on April 8, 1971. Also performing were Seatrain and Wishbone Ash.
This is a new edition created by the original and only Fillmore East staff artist and legendary rock and broadway poster designer David Edward Byrd. It is the second of two Elton John posters David has done.
It has been annotated, hand-signed and numbered in pencil by David.
Includes my signed Certificate of Authenticity and Lifetime Guarantee (COA).

In Flawless Mint Condition
David Byrd has secured a place in rock poster history. But along the way he has made dozens of highly memorable, iconic poster images of Jimi Hendrix, the Rolling Stones, the Grateful Dead and dozens more for not only the Fillmore East (where he was the only poster artist), but for Broadway shows such as Sondheim's Follies, Tommy, Jesus Christ Superstar, Godspell, Little Shop of Horrors and many, many more.
