This beautiful pair of Gary Houston posters pays tribute to two of the most influential and celebrated bluesmen in history, Muddy Waters and Elmore James. Both were created as special editions released during the Portland Waterfront Blues Fest in 19. The Muddy Waters was created in 2017. Elmore James was published in 2018 on the 100th anniversary of his birth.

Each of the hand-made silkscreen prints are on beautiful iridescent paper.
They are identically sized at 14" x 18" and make an excellent framed pair. Both are in flawless, mint condition
Muddy Waters:
Gary calls this gorgeous etched portrait of Muddy Waters "Mannish Boy," reflecting a dapper youthful Muddy with sharkskin suit and flowing hair. It is a joyful tribute to the blues legend. There were only 150 made.
Part of an edition of 150 prints. It is on iridescent paper. Dimensions: 14" x 18"
It is in flawless mint condition.
Elmore James:
Elmore James, who composed classics like "Standing at the Crossroads," "Dust My Broom," "The Sky is Crying," and countless others, was born in 1918. Gary created this poster to celebrate the 2018 100th anniversary of his birth.
It is part of a signed and numbered edition of just 100 prints. It is on an iridescent violet paper. Dimensions: 14" x 18"
It is in flawless mint condition.
